A stool's service life is decided at three points: the welds, the casters, and the cylinder. The Life's base is reinforced fiberglass nylon and steel, the casters are self-braking and non-marking, and the warranty covers parts for 15 years with lifetime cylinder replacement — so the seat is supported for its full service life and a facility's cost of ownership stays predictable.

Configure the Life to your facility: two height ranges (desk or medium bench), commercial-grade vinyl or fabric upholstery, casters or stationary glides, and an optional foot ring.

• Upholstery (2 choices): Spradling® Patriot Plus commercial-grade vinyl with a PermaBlok® topcoat — closed-pore and non-porous, cleanable with 10% isopropyl alcohol or a 1:9 bleach solution — or heavy-duty commercial fabric over molded polyurethane foam. Both carry a 5-year upholstery warranty. Specify vinyl for clinical rooms with a disinfection protocol; fabric for offices, labs, and workstations where breathability matters more than wipe-down.

• Casters / Glides (2 choices): Black dual-wheel casters (standard) roll across both hard floors and carpet. They are self-braking, with a safety lock that engages when the seat is unweighted — so the stool stays put as you sit down or stand up, rather than sliding out from under you. Non-marking, so they won't leave tracks on finished floors. Stationary caps/glides are the fixed alternative that hold the stool in one place.
